Details
Friday October 7th
Meet at Walmart Supercenter, 11328 S Jordan Gateway, South Jordan at 12pm KSU at 12:15
Travel south to Nephi on I-15. Exit 222 Stop at Texaco in Nephi for gas/restroom/drink refills. 2050 S Main St, Nephi. (71 miles/62 min) Nephi to UT 28 & Hwy 89 to Flying J in Richfield, 25 E Flying J Dr, Richfield (72 miles/70 min). South on 89 to Panquitch (78 miles/80 min). Blue Pine Motel (or other lodging arrangements). Meet for dinner at 6 pm at Cedar Breaks Grill- 608 S Main St, Panguitch.
Saturday, October 8th
Meet at Blue Pine Motel, 130 N Main St, at 7:50 am KSU 8:00 (breakfast on your own and gassed up). Hwy 12 to Boulder , we'll make a few scenic overlook stops along the way (probably Powell Point Vista and Boynton overlook). When we do this, get off your bike, take some pictures, be ready to get going again. Ride through Boulder and then the Burr trail until pavement ends . Back to Boulder for lunch at Burr Trail Grill (155 miles/4.5 hours). Gas up in Boulder then ride to Homestead overlook, Capitol Reef Visitor center (stop for about 30 minutes) then stay at Aquarius inn (60 miles/ just shy of 2 hours). Dinner at the Sunglow Family Restaurant - Famous Pickle pie!
Sunday, October 9th
Breakfast on your own and gassed up
Meet at 8:30 KSU 8:45 am
Travel to Fish Lake along UT-24 and N on UT-25, Gooseberry-Freemont Rd to I-70. HWY 89 to Manti. Stop in Manti for gas/restroom.
From Manti we can choose from 3 routes home that we can discuss before hand and where to have lunch
